Hi there,

I own a spirit and have installed it on a 4-blade 450 helicopter. I have successfully set up (almost) everything. Collectiv pitch range is now equally 12.5° deg.

Now my theory is a bit rusty, so I might be completeyl wrong.

When I want to set up the cyclic, and with collectiv pitch 0°, the cyclic pitch should be the same on left and right deflection, right? I am measuring the blade with is along the helicopter axis, so the pair of blades with run across the length of the heli, directly along the tail.

There is a massive difference like 20° and 8° on the other side, when I am in cyclic ring tuning. That should not be the case, right? It should be same or less degree as collectiv pitch equally on both sides, right? So this is not the case. How do I fix it?

Thanks,
Michael

Maybe that happens because I have cyclic phasing for my 4 blade head of 42° enabled.

I will reverse the setting and try again.

it didn't help... so I am stuck right now. I will double check if my servo travel is unusual when I increase/decrease collective pitch.

Hi,

I hope that this guide will help you.

Although it does not mention your problem explicitly, it should work well wherever you can see assymetry.

Yes, you are right that so big difference is really abnormal.

I guess that the problem could be caused by servo arm centering.
