I am unable to access telemetry data and would appreciate some advice on resolving this problem.

My system is :
Spirit Pro
Hobbywing Platinum 130A HV V4 (internal BEC)
SPM4649T Telemetry Receiver
SPM9645 Satellite Receiver

Installation is on a Trex 700 V2 FBL and my Tx is a DX9.
I have connected the SPM4649T using the Jeti integration cable as instructed.

I have configured in the Tx under the Telemetry option 1. ESC 2. Text Gen

I have connected the HW ESC PlatV4 using the Telem UNI cable from the P socket to the Spirit primary satellite port and in the Advanced/Telementry settings in the Spirit software I have set the Hobbywing Platinum V4 option.
I am able to access the ‘ESC Status’ screen in the TX. No values are displayed. The Voice activated report keeps saying ‘ESC No Data’

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Refer to Spektrum Integration section of the manual for wiring the SPM 4649T
to the AIL pin of Spirit Pro.

The SPM4649T is wired correctly, using the Jeti integration cable with the orange wire in the AIL port and the Red/Brown wires in the RUD port.

I should add that my DX9 is on version 1.21 firmware.

Additionally, when attempting to enter the integration menu by rotating to the blank screen and holding rudder stick right & Aileron stick left for over 2 sec, the screen stays blank (ie there is no Ready message)

Hello Michael,

are you able to downgrade TX firmware to 1.20? Few pilots with DX9 is describing incompatibility issue, while Spektrum can't tell what is different.. For them firmwares prior to 1.21 are all working great.

Installation of Firmware 1.20 solved the problem in that there is now information on the ESC Staus screen and I am able to access the Integration menu from a blank screen. This is all a step forward however the only data I get on the ESC status screen is temperature and throttle percentage. There is no Volt or Amp data.
If I activate voice alarms, I am continually told there are zero volts and zero amps.
Are you able to help with this please ?

Many thanks

Michael

That is great.

In that case I guess that firmware in your ESC is old. With old firmware it will not work as the telemetry is not supported there at all.

Thank you Tomas

You were absolutely right of course. The firmware in the ESC needed updating. It is now version 04.0.04.

Everything now works !

Thank you again for your help.
