Very Old Spirit Unit and Geolink

I was just in the process of getting out of the Heli hobby when I came across the new Geolink. My question is I have one of the very early spirit units and was wondering if there are any issues using the Geolink with this?

it will work well. We are testing with all units and we have not found a problem with any.
