Altitude and position hold

I flew my Trex550 yesterday, first with altitude hold-this made the heli oscillate up and down, and it then settled down to a constant height.

Then I tried altitude/positon hold together and although the heli held altitude, it was jerking around forwards and backwards, left and right badly enough for me to switch back to manual control.

Weather was clear, sunny, about 15 degrees and little wind.

Any ideas what settings may be too high or what the problem may be?

Thanks

You can adjust the Geo Link Horizontal and Vertical Gains.

Hello,

did you calibrated the compass? If no, then it is necessary to do. Then you can decrease Horizontal and Vertical gains.
The model should be completely stable when there is no wind.

Hi

Yes, I calibrated the compass, the video online helped with that!

I'll reduce the gains and try it again.

Thanks.

My setup was 100 for horizontal and 76 for vertical and this was ok for a T-Rex 550.
