I believe you will need the integration cable too for the receiver to get the data from the Spirit unit so it can transmit it to the Tx as telemetry.

That is individual (depends on other parameters) and should be tried at the model.
We recommend to use default settings always first. Then you can decide if it is too slow or fast for you.
