computer locks up

after downloading 2.6 on my laptop, the program will not run with the usb plugged in, it just locks up, if i restart and don't plug in the usb cord it will start and run, I have removed and reinstalled several times. Any Ideas how to fix

very likely this is because your Spirit unit is running old firmware version.

Please download the old software and update the firmware first.

Old version can be downloaded here:
http://www.spirit-system.com/dl/setting ... -win32.exe

Once firmware is updated you can install the latest Spirit Settings.

just checked from my desktop, and it works and has 2.6 on it and come up fine, will keep trying to figure it out
