Hi,

I have Align Trex 450 pro, with Spirit system and GeoLink. Using Turnigy 9x (9ch) radio along with Turnigy PWM receiver (8ch).

Since this is the PWM receiver, how many channels I can assign for GeoLink functions, is it only one?

One more related question:
In case I decide to use S-BUS adapter (in order to achieve more channels) - do I need to rework my already finished Spirit setup (for instance diagnostic tab directions, end points adjustments on radio side, travel travel corrections in Spirit settings, subtrims in Spirit settings, swash plate geometry, etc...?

Thanks,
Denis

Hi Denis,
Check out my link here: http://spirit-system.com/phpBB3/viewtop ... =20&t=2981
I accomplished setting up Hard Deck Rescue on one channel with right hand TX lever,
and on another channel set up a toggle switch when activated turns on Automatic Return to Home position and Land the heli to the Return to home location you program in GeoLink. I set this up using a JR XP9303H TX with PWM Rx as well....
You could download the TREX 500 file and load it into the Spirit FBL just to see how I set it up.
And this did not require going to the SBUS route RX.
It should answer a lot of your questions.
Hope this helps;-)

Hello,

yes, you will need to change few things such as channel reversing, travel adjust. Everything else in the Spirit unit can be very same, except the receiver type.

With PWM and Spirit Pro you can control 2 features from GeoLink independently. But you can enable more features for the same channel.
