One question please:
I have a switch configured for changing bank 0, bank 1 and bank2.
When I choose Bank0= coax ; Bank1 = stabi normal, Bank2= rescue
and I assign a switch for triggering rescue or even when using negative gain for this, Rescue mode is only working when I switch to Bank 2. When using the other banks triggering rescue is doing nothing.
Is this as its intended to be?
does this mean - when flying different banks that there will be no rescue?
Please help me
Thanks
Tom
Rescue and Bank Switch - confused
Hello,
yes, this behavior is correct - it is working in the way it is programmed.
You have to change also Bank to 2 whenever you would like to trigger the Rescue.
But there is also possibility to control Banks and Gyro Gain with just one switch, by unassigning the Gyro Gain channel. Then the gain is programmed in the software for each bank which in turn can trigger the special mode such as Rescue.
So it is enough to program negative gain in the Sensor tab.

In your current setup it will fly like a normal flight mode, since no special function is triggered. So just like when everything is disabled.
By changing Gyro Gain you are engaging a special mode, regardless if it is rescue or stabilisation - simply what is programmed in the Stabi mode. Your current bank is deciding which mode will be available.

It is possible, but you have to change to another bank where you have selected rescue.
So if you press your rescue button you have to set your gyro channel negative (or activate the stabi channel if you are using this feature) AND switch bank to the one where you have selected rescue. If you release your button gyro channel and bank have to switch back to your normal mode. Thats all you need to do.
Example:
Bank 0: Stabi
Bank 1: Rescue
Rescue button inactive = Bank 0 and gyro negative (or stabi channel active)
Rescue button active = Switch to Bank 1 and gyro negative (or stabi channel active)
Thanks a lot you perfectly answered what I needed to know.
