Hello

I have the Spirit Pro unit set up in a dual satellite with the 4649T for integration. I'm having a problem where the integration/telemetry does not work on initial power up until I disconnect the satellites then it starts working and continues to work after I plug them back in. I bound the 4649 separately of the spirit unit and then bound the satellites per the manual (DSMX). Could you let me know if I have missed something in order for this to work correctly without having to unplug and plug in the satellites every time?

Thank you.

Why did you bind them separately? You should bind them all at once.
Disconnect the 4649T data pin from the bidirectional ail pin. Leave the red/black wires of the 4696T plugged into the RUD port. Plug in your sats. Plug in the bind plug into the ele/pit/ail connector. Now also plug in the bind connector into the 4649T.

Now power on and bind them all at once.

Please make sure that they are bound with the same frame rate.
Also could you describe which Spektrum ports are used?

Are the satellites genuine Spektrum brand?

Are you using some buffer pack or a kind of backup?

I have 2 genuine Spektrum DSMX satellites hooked up to the Spektrum ports on either side of the unit. I believe they are both currently bound @ 11ms but I'll rebind with procedure above and that should ensure both are at 11ms. I am only running a flight pack with a split lead for 2 hookups, no buffer pack or backup guard or anything like that.

I don't think it's a good idea to bind them together, issues arise doing it that way or at least on my end.I'm not sure what TX he has but my 4649T binds to my DX18 at 22ms and sats at 11ms,so you can imagine what happens binding them together.
I'm not sure what the system does if bind together, does it default to 11ms, 22ms or go nuts ? I had problems,so I bind 4649T,set it in my TX to 11ms,bind sats, power down, power up and all is set at 11ms...[emoji106]
This is just my 0.2 cents and hope he gets his sorted out.
Happy flying.

Why would you bind at 2 different frame rates ?
Are you use more than 10 channels ?
