The Spektrum 4649T receiver has something to do with SRXL. I'm no electronics expert, so I don't know exactly how, but this I've heard. So when I was setting up my very first Spirit not too long ago via the Wizard, I selected SRXL as the receiver type, not DSMX. That seemed correct since the Spektrum option in the Wizard lists only "Satellite" so I thought if I had anything other than a satellite I should select a different option.
It would be helpful if somewhere in the Wizard on step 1/10 it gave more info on which option to select if we're using 4649T. I spent an hour trying to figure out why my uSpirit wasn't responding to my 4649T.
The General tab is less specific/limiting to Satellites, so maybe it doesn't need altering.
The manual, though, also seems to limit my options to satellites. But I do see the "Integration" note. EDIT: At the time o was not trying to set up integration... just saying I noticed that there is more info there were I setting that up.
Suggestion: Better description if using 4649T receiver
From the manual under Spektrum Intergration:
4 Spirit Settings
Now you are ready to power up the unit. If your Power supply is not connected yet, we recommend to connect it to the AUX1, AUX2 and/or CH0 port. Before you can utilize the Spektrum integration connection, it is important to set the Spektrum DSM2/X receiver type in the General tab of the software. Please start the Spirit Settings and change the receiver type as displayed on the photo. Then save the settings (e.g. by CTRL+S) or the Backup tab/Unit - Save and restart the unit

That’s good info, but at the time I was not trying to set up integration. I just wanted to go through the wizard and use 4649T as a regular receiver. Since I was not going to do integration, there isn’t a reason for me to go into integration portion of the manual.
I updated my original post to clarify that.
