In the geolink menu, there is an option to add/subtract degrees to the geolink compass when the model does not reliably return to home. How does one know to add or subtract value? I had a situation where although I calibrated the compass about a month ago, at the field yesterday, before takeoff I noticed the calibration was off. It read 79 degrees instead of 90. I recalibrated but got the same reading. I tried to "add" degrees through the software option but after adding 40 it didn't change the 79 degree value. I could use help in understanding what the feature does. Am I doing something wrong?

It must be put into perspective, on my 450 Géolink is close to the AC servo and works very well.

Good flights.

Mounting is looking good from the photos.

Compass Correction should be zero from default. But if your helicopter is unable to hold properly at the spot and is circling, then it is advised to change the value gradually in steps. This is described in the parameter tooltip menu when you will hover mouse above.
But exact value can't be determined from the ground. Usually it shouldn't be needed.
