Hey Guys,

Just built a Gobby 380 and was spooling it up for a test, no blades and I noticed around midstick I am getting servo oscillations causing the swash to wobble. I have gone through the setup again and things appear to be set correctly, as well as mechanically correct. I have a video of it below. Anyone had this before, or point me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hi
Follow the the online manual for the Spirit and use the diagnostic tab and then tool for vibration analysis. Hopefully this should point you in the right direction to find any vibes the unit sees. You will also find the head speed will absolutely rips when the head is not loaded I.e has no blades on and this will contribute to high hertz's vibes. Although a little servo movement can occur they should not jump around, but do consider the surface you test on should have some absorbing effect and this I believe is covered in the instructions for the vibration testing.

Hi,

please make sure that the unit is mounted really hard and there is nothing touching it.
The problem could be also due to some electrical interference with motor/ESC.
Do you have any other different brand servo for try?

This issue is really serious and must be resolved completely otherwise it would end bad.
You can measure vibrations in the Diagnostic tab. This should tell you if the problem is caused by vibrations or not. But I think that rather no.
