I have a Spirit FC and am using it in a helicopter. I am trying to configure the Stabilize and Rescue such that both are available at the same time. I would like stabilize to be always active, with the ability to engage Rescue by pulling a momentary switch to the on position.
I can get Stabilize active on. I can get Rescue to activate via a switch. Just can't figure out how to get them available at the same time.
Using Opentx radio if that would be helpful to anyone who might be able to provide assistance.

Perhaps I didn't make what I want to do clear. I want stabilize active across all flight modes/banks all the time. I also want to be able to active rescue via a momentary switch if I get in trouble. I believe I have figured out how to set this up. Will test it later today.enied wrote:Hi,

I wanted to set it like you too but at the moment it isnt possible to do so.
The only alternative is to have 2 banks with stabilisation or whatever you want and 1 bank with the rescue...then use one switch which will trigger stabi function and change bank to the one with rescue at the same time.
The possibility to change mode of stabi without banks will be allegedly added in the future.

You can set 3 different features to Banks and switch between them just by one switch. So one switch is needed only.
In your radio you can set behavior where rescue is engaged always when switch is triggered.
For example by usage of mixes or flight modes. Specific Flight mode can be set when a momentary switch is engaged. So described behavior can be configured already.

You can try like this:
Bank 1=stabi always on/off with a channel and a switch for that channel. (you can disable stabi for 3d/sport fly)
Bank 2= rescue off.. And with a momentary switch on when you are in problems
Bank 3= same of bank 2 same switch
In this case, you will be flying on Bank 1 always with stabi on or off and with stabi on the rescue will work with the momentary switch when need it.
Easy to setup. Just need two channels and two switches so one for stability and one for rescue
The Receiver will need at least 8 channels
