Im using a Spirit pro on a three blade head with Align 820 servos i believe . When i try to do rolls or flips the flip is very slow i need full elevator with full possitive pitch . I even set cyclic rotation rate at 14 . This is is happening in two Urukay helis one is a three and one is a two blade. I have 15 helis that are from 570 to 800 without having any problems thats why these two have me stumped.Any ideas on what to do?

Hi,

Might Be stupid, but maybe your cyclic limits doesn’t match with your RPM settings. Low RPM e.g. requires higher values there. If it doesn‘t match the Heli is not able to reach the requested rotation speed.

No thats not it im running 1700,1800,1900 RPM.I have this set up like my other helis Align 800,Synergy 806,many Goblin 700 helis. Is it possible its the head design (dought that) on my cyclic ring i can only get 8 degrees of pitch before and binding occures. Would moving servo ball out a hole help. These sure have me stumped and yes my banks are set up properly.

Have you increased cyclic feed?

Hi,

8° is not a lot but should be good. Also 1800RPM seems to be enough to achieve a good rotation rate.
In that case, my idea didn‘t help.

Any limits configured in TX? (Most likely not, but to just to make sure ;-))
Maybe you wanted to add expo but added dual rate, or something like that.

Cheers
