Hi,
trying to update a GeoLink to version 1.2.0, the progress bar reached 100% and the SW told me success.
Now the GeoLink is not responding anymore.
I tried to repeat the upload with "continue" as described, as the blue light still was on, but no success.
After many tries, I tried it the other way with revovery mode but also no success.
However the blue light is always on, as soon as I connect power to the system.
Any advice?
Best regards,
Alexander
P.S.
Two other GeoLink were updated sucessfully
GeoLink stuck updating to version 1.2.0
Hi,
I can help you on monday with the issue.
Could you try to flash older firmware just to check the outcome?

Hi,
I did already try to upload version 1.1.0 and 1.0.3 yesterday, it behaves always the same way.
As soon as I connect power to the system the blue light of the GeoLink is steady on.
I also tried with another spirit, all of them have version 3.1 already.
Do you think downgrading to 2.8 could help?
Btw, this is one of 4 GeoLink, there were also some problems with two others.
But with the known procedures I was able to recover the GeoLink.
I guess updating via WiFi is more problematic, but to disassemble a scaler to reach the components is no fun...

Hi,
after the fails I tried that also from another spirit that has no WiFi-Link, with no luck as well.
The fact that the light is and stays on immediately after powering up the system, also is the same with the other spirit connected via USB.

is possible that geolink gone in calibration mode ?
In that case it would be flashing when moving with the module.

Hi,
I just checked if the LED was flashing if I move the module, it does not, it is just on all the time.
When I connect to the GeoLink in the software it states "not connected", Version 0.0.0 and the only option is to update. All other tabs are greyed out.

Are you sure the module worked properly before doing the update?
Weren't you pulling it down from the model or weren't there any other manipulation with the module?
Since it does not work even with old firmwares it is quite strange. Anyway it must work with any firmware.
There is some unknown error but we can find it together.
