With the 6610t you still get the Spektrum intergration and 12 channels from your ix12 tx. you will not need any additional leads as the lead from your 4649t
will fit. If you only use the 6610t you can plug lead into srxl/data socket or socket number 1 but if you use the 4651t as a sat you can only use socket
number 1 to connect to the Spirit...
ix12 + 4649t - No access to Text Gen / Spirit menu
The barometer works well for me but i turned off the vario as it is a bit noisyPino74 wrote:does the barometer work well on the ar6610t? can you also see the model speed?
Many thanks 10x!!!!For your patience
For speed of the model you would need a gps...https://www.horizonhobby.co.uk/en/produ ... r-spma9587
Which will plug into the 6610t xbus socket, but this is expensive, it would be better to use the Geolink....
Hi,
Not sure if this helps but I had a Trex700X working with SPM 4649T 2 DMSX satellites and Hobbywing ESC telemetry all connected to a Spirit2. Transmitter was a Spektrum iX12. From Spirit I used a 'Spektrum multi-adapter','Jeti integration cable' and 'TELEM UNI cable' for the Hobbywing telemetry. All sats. bound OK and the heli flew well, but I was never able to reliably get the iX12 to produce the integration / text gen. Sometimes it would work, others not. I never found why, and didn't know/try the 11mS / 22mS settings.
Also, I was never happy with the way the iX12 dealt with telemetry (setup, manipulation and display). With the above setup I regularly got many Rx 'fades' reported but no holds, but the 'fades' surprised me as there were a total of 6 antennae, both at from and back of heli.
I had the opportunity to get a Jeti DS-12 and have been converting all my helis to Jeti/Spirit and am very pleased I did. Nothing to say the Spektrum setup was faulty but I was never really happy with the way it worked and produced info. Now with just 2 antennae (spirit RS or Jeti REX3 Rx), I get 100% signal quality. individual antennas do 'fade' occasionally, but the link seems so much better and the telemetry superb.
Anyway, as I say, this won't help much but it may be some comfort to know you aren't alone with the text-gen / iX12 issue. Now I have 4649T and AR6610T for sale if interested!
Cheers, Andy

The problem with this set up is that only the 4649t reports the fades, not the sats. So if the signal swaps to the sats there is fades on the 4649t but still a good signal from the sats....

I was wrong not to buy a ds 12. it cost as much as the ix12. I should sell mine and lose a lot of moneyFortune7 wrote:Hi,

Wherever I read Spektrum divides the waters.
has people who are very well and many others who have very bad experiences
there is not a high percentage of happy people like other Futaba brands or jeti, but there is a fifty fifty.
50 happy, 50 not happy
This is what the text gen on my Spektrum Ix12 has done to me
By mistake I changed the installation direction of installation heli inverted from 0° to 180°(orientation) in the Spirit from the Text Gen Menu, and in hovering 20 cm from the ground, my Heli big and violent crash!!!. 100 euros of damage.
The text gen works very badly because to enter and exit the integration on the ix12, there is the same stick movement (I think it's a bug to update). Not only if you change a setting in Text gen save it immediately, even without exiting and then saving
