Hi, I can not seem to get Hobbywing V4 ESC telemetry working on my setup.
My equipment is a Spektrum DX9 Black, Spektrum AR9030T receiver connected via SRXL to a Spirit II FBL, HobbyWing Platinum 200A V4.1 ESC all installed in a T-Rex 800e Pro DFC helicopter.
Firmware versions in the DX9, Spirit 2 and HW200A are all updated.

Telemetry is partially working - I can see the receiver voltage displayed on the DX9's flight log display, as well as main battery voltage (using the plug into the AR9030T connected to the flight pack). But RPM, Amps, Temp, mAH etc not displayed in the DX9 ESC Telemetry screen.

The Telem Uni cable is plugged into the SAT 1 port from the HW200A V4.1 ESC and with the correct plug orientation.
HobbyWing V4 is selected in Telemetry section of Spirit setup menu using the USB interface.
ESC RPM sensor is plugged into the PIT pin of the ELE/PIT/AIL port and RPM displays correctly in the Spirit setup menu when motor running.
But still nothing displayed on the ESC Telemetry page of the DX9 with everything powered up and motor turning. Only "-------" dashes are displayed where live parameters are supposed to be.
Anyone able to help please?

Hi Td757,
Look AT this, thats maybe the prob -

1 Requirements

To make it work you will need:

Spektrum transmitter: DX6e, DX6 Gen 2, DX6 Gen 3, DX7 Gen 2, DX8 Gen 2, DX9, DX10T, DX18 Gen 1, DX18 Gen 2, DX18T, DX18QQ, DX20, IX12, IX20
Serial Telemetry receiver: SPM4649T, SPM4650, SPM4651, SPM9747, AR6610T.
Cable - depending on your receiver (see Wiring section).

As Mattes61 pointed out you will not get esc or intergration from the AR9030t as it is not bidirectional srxl. It only goes 1 way....

I have an old TM1000 lying around (DSM2). Is there anyway I can work that into the configuration to get the ESC telemetry working?

Castle make a interface to get esc data to the tm1000, http://www.castlecreations.com/en/acces ... 10-0148-00
But i am not aware of any thing for hobbywing, so no with the tm1000....

So is there any Spektrum bi-directional SRXL telemetry receiver that is more than 6 channels?

On my e820 i use a 6610t plus a 4651t. There is only 3 wires to connect to the spirit, 1 signal wire and a + and -.
You will have 9 channels on your dx9 tx. What are you needing your extra channels for?, if for rescue or stabi functions
it will work....

Need extra channels for strobe lights, landing gear and Return To Home GPS function.
