Hi
I have a strange behavior of my new Spirit RS,the tail shows irregular jerks in both directions.
It only occurs on high rpm:s and after a cuple of minutes of flight. It seems that temp matters.
I have tested diffrent settings in setup gain, rudder delay, rudder dynamics, pirouette consictensy.
I have also tested another servo. And another issue, when i powerup the heli and it stands perfecly still
on a table the elevator servo trye to correct all the time the unit is never silent,if i put my finger on the servoarm i can feel it moves. My other Spirit RS is absolutly silent.

Hello,

please try to place antennas further from servos.
Some servos are sensitive to telemetry signal. So even if unit is doing nothing servos can jitter.

You should see immediate difference when changing antennas position.

Hi
I moved the antennas in another direction and the unit where much moore silent.
I go flying tomorrow and see if the jerk in tail is away, else i plan to buy new servos.
Any suggestions on servos thats fit spirit best?
Thanks

Servos are very much a personal things as budgets can dictate what you can afford but so for as I know there are some issues with very specific BK and Futaba servos on large heli’s but that does not mean you will experience them. I just read about it.
I use MKS servos and have no issues at all.

MKS servos are good, this issue can happen also with other servos if they are close to the antennas or Wifi-Link.
It is enough to position antennas differently.

I'm having the same issue as Latjo so hope he doesn't mind me continuing this...?!
Kraken 580, RS and MKS HBL 980 Tail Servo. The Antenna are mounted in a moulding above the rear cyclic servo, the tip about 2'' above.
Same jerky movement when using the sticks quickly and quickly simulating a yaw, sounds like stripped gear but all smooth running.
I have streached the antenna straight out as far away from the servos as possible and it still does it. I have tried going to 333hz but the same. Any settings to try? Thanks.......

You can start the model without radio, if the problem will remain the issue is somewhere else.
This can help with finding if it is caused by RF signal.

Yes, it still does it with Tx off. Thanks Tomas.

I am afraid it is a very different problem. If you can connect a different servo there and it will not happen then it look like the servo itself could be wrong.
Maybe a very high Rudder Delay or Rudder Dynamic is configured.
