Hello Tomas,

i just finished tuning of my new Spirit RS (which performs fantastic by the way) and was about to delete the live tuning for channel 9.... when i noticed the real strange channel assignment on my DS-12 (Spirit Ed.). i am not sure if it was already like this before the 5.04 update... but most probably i would have noticed... it's too obvious.

see pics attached:

- Spirit option is selected (and was always beginning with 1st setup)
- sticks setup is OK
- channel mapping in DS-12 is not Spirit standard and NOT OK (ch#4/5/6)
- Spirit RS channel mapping is OK (but different from DS-12)

... and i am flying perfectly like this. if not - i would have seen during preflight check on bench at the field at latest. but all OK.

btw: i've checked with my other Spirit setup (Spirit 2/Rex3) and it is the same setting. is the Spirit option "overruling" the channel mapping of DS-12 for standard channels?

NB: ... i've noticed that channels 1-6 are always displayed in bold in servo/channel mapping screen when "Spirit" is selected.

Hi Michael,

here is my Spirit Setup. The physical unit is a Spirit Pro running FW 3.1.0 with a GeoLink 1.2.0 connected. The TX is a Jeti DS-12 Carbon Edition, the Receiver is a Jeti REX3.

I set up everything manually with TX on FW 5.03 (however, I did let the TX choose the channels) and updated the TX to FW 5.04 today. I also updatet the Heli type to "Spirit" today.

After conversion from Graupner to Jeti I did not fly the Heli yet. On the workbench everything seems to be fine.

Best Regards, Eugen

Hello,

please do not compare channel numbers between Spirit unit and radio. They should be mapped properly with default settings.
Spirit unit has internal mapping where numbering is different.

Eventually for Spirit RS the first few channels can be hidden in Spirit configuration to not cause confusion.
