Can you please explain in more detail the new anti gravity?
how does it work when the helicopter is in inverted position (skids up)? does it limit the "falling" by limiting pitch also?

This explains it quite well

Should work the same with Spirit

HAve you ever tried on Spirit ? I do not think so.
V-BAR and Spirit have different approach next to it.

Online MAnual is still on 3.1, so no reference to read from.
The question is also "skids down" behavior

I'm also interessted in Tomas response.

It is working exactly as with V-Bar, except Spirit will not change collective pitch range. So you do not have to be afraid of a boomstrike.
When you are upside down, it is working so that it will still fall slower towards the ground (less pitch) but more pitch upwards. So it is independent of model position.

THX for clarification.

Looks like i have to increase values, as i did not feel any stabilization on holding attitude - flying skids down and Stabi SCALE mode.
Will be great to enhance the tuning guide with some recommendations / exclusion of setting combinations.

Will you make the parameter available to be changed by funktion / transmitter channel ?
Especially when testing this will be a great feature.
Can also be a goodie when switching between stabi modes as well.

Anti-Gravity feature is not meant to be holding attitude. It has impact only on collective pitch.

Wpuld indeed be nice if AG-parameter can be assigned to a channel

Sorry, I'm confused - i just need to understand.
Is there any feed-back from sensors considered, or do we talk about shifting/softening the "lower" pitch curve based on orientation skids up/down?

I do not have any problem with the solution, I simply want to understand, how I can utilize this feature best to match my flying skills.
And knowing the function also will help me to set pitch curve correctly - as you all know - I'm one of the skids down guy, flying with scale helis.

Since I do no 3D flying, just round trips in normal position, I don't need this new feature.
I have it in use already

The adjustment of max. pitch in the Spirit FBL for my helis is usually from -10° to +12°
The pitch curve is in average like this: 35/50/60/73/100
So there is already an AG funktion programmed. It just would not work for a upside down flight.
The new feature does the same with the lower pitch curve.

The left slider of my radio is programmed to tweak the pitch curve 10 points up and down and the right slider does the same for the throttle curve.

Is the 50 value setting noted somewhere (announcement or ?) a reasonable starting point for playing with this?

I"m running 11 deg +/- now. I think this means that anytime I'm flying, the "downward" direction is changed effectively to 5.5 deg "downward", while the upward is still 11. Is that the case?
