Where can I get the new firmware?

With stabilization off I wouldn't trust myself to fly the model. Does Spirit make any corrections when stabilization is off? If I try to take off with no stabilization the model wants to flip over. I'm not looking to fly like that.

When flying with stabilisation off it is doing many corrections for you. It will fly similarly as with a simulator.

Before lift off you should not move with sticks, this is reason why it wants to tip over. Swashplate must be perfectly level at this time - this is very important.

I sent you private message with link for the firmware.

Updated firmware.

Running coaxial with Extended Signal Processing = OFF.

Flew for about 20+ minutes no problems.

I'd be interested in learning what was changed and how that works. Is there any information on these kinds of systems, how they work, how to avoid problems etc?

Btw: does this mean if I select something other than coaxial like stabilization = Scale that the problem would likely return?

Thanks.

Ran into another problem not sure if this is fixable.

I changed the receiver to an EZUHF in PPM and it mostly works. The Rx is setup in PPM mode and is bound to the Tx module. The problem is that channel 3 (elevator) in this case travel only works from -100 to +5 even though travel adjust (up) is all the way to +150. I looked into the EZUHF tools and it reports the same as the Spirit that channel 3 is from -100 something to around +3-5 Other channels in Spirit are not perfect but close to correct range the elevator is not.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Hello,

it is great the problem seems to be resolved. There was only very small change regarding measurement of the horizontal position. So the difference is only in algorithm for the stabilisation with Extended Signal Processing OFF and ON while Stabi Correction is OFF.

Regarding other issue please check your radio configuration. Possibly you can check also Channel monitor in your radio to find if the elevator has really full range.
Maybe it is limited by mistake with Channel Travel Adjustment or similar funtion of the radio.

Same radio just different module. I don't fully understand how they talk to each other. This radio worked fine with PPM on another module but now with this module communication for this channel is wrong although most of them have lost travel. I have to update firmware and pray. It would be nice if things just worked once in a while. :(
