[SOLVED] ERROR: Spirit.bin.file update required

I have done the updates for the RS and in my radio I am being told/showed

ERROR: Spirit.bin.file update required this is in the radio



What am I missing?


I also copied these files

SPIRIT.bin
REX-RS.bin
SPIRIT


into my Radio into device folder and I am still getting this error message when I log into the SPIRIT FBL unit with my DS12.

I have check my version and it's Spirit-3.2.0 in my radio However when reading the manuel it said I need Spirit-3.x I can not find this version to download, please help.

what is firmware version in the unit? This is written right at the screen where you are seeing the error.
Files in the Jeti radio or Spirit firmware has different version, they must be same.

Firmware version in the Radio is 3.2.0, They are both the same.

If you see the error, it mean they are not the same.
Very likely files in your JETI radios were copied in a wrong directory. This is very common. You have to rewrite old, existing files.

I choose the option to rewrite all three times when I did this update or copied the files.

Could you please take a screenshot of what you are seeing at the display?

If you can see Firmware version 3.2.0 in the integration menu, then it is certain the files were unfortunately not copied properly or old version was copied.

Please make sure you downloaded SPIRIT-3.2.zip file.

Great, now please delete SPIRIT.bin file from Devices directory of the SD Card.

And replace it with new one from the zip archive. Then all will work fine.
