DSMX - Sat will not enter bind mode (rapid flash)

I have a Spirit which will not enter Bind mode.

I have a proper connection to the software (3.2 on software and firmware), I have started the Wizard and selected 'dsmx,' I have disconnected the usb cable, put a bind plug in ele/pit/ail, and repowered, and the sat will not rapid flash.

Any ideas?

Binding will not work until Spirit unit will be operating normally. Now it is in recovery mode. Once firmware is flashed properly, binding satellite should work too.

It's a different Spirit unit, sir. I have multiple.

2 are on helis and work great
1 is in recovery mode currently
1 is being prepped to be put on a heli and is having the BIND issue

2 units in good working order are unable to bind. Im sure its something I'm doing wrong, but I've tried everything.

sats will not go into bind mode (they do one quick flash and that's it)

It still will not enter bind mode. Satellite gives one quick blink and that's all.

Should I try an older firmware and software which allows binding?

Oh, this mean that there is no problem with firmware. But very likely your Receiver type is not set to Spektrum DSM2/X.
Only then binding will work.

Ive selected DSMX under receiver type many times. I've even tried running the wizard to the end and saved the settings first, then tried binding.

I've really tried everything. I've tried different sats, different wire, different usb cable, different power sources.

I've followed the instructions to the letter and I'm running out of ideas here.

I tried using another receiver and bound the sat to my transmitter that way. It bound, but then when I bring it over to the Spirit, there's no connection.

I just tried resetting both spirits to factory settings and saving the DSMX choice again.
