Hi,
same problem here, Trex 470L with stock servos (Castle Lite 50 instead of stock ESC) with Spirit RS.
Where should I put in the capacitor in the Spirit RS?
Thanks,
Tino
Stock trex 470L failed BEC test?
Hello Tino,
just plug the capacitor into the +/- pins of any powered main port on the Spirit RS (so not the SYS or EXT/RPM/E2 port... those are signal only and not Sat ports). no problem to use a Y cable if no port is free.
i am using 4700µ ultralow esr caps on all of my helis, 1pcs on smaller helis <=550 and 2pcs or buffer packs (R2/1st RC) on bigger ones >= 570. it is great to fight voltage dips and have overall smoother voltage... but all of my BECs do survive the BEC test without too. this should be the goal in any case... a brownout in the middle of a rescue is not funny
