I want to keep the function of updating using local file. I have to wait for the firmware downloading for each machine. Not preferred.

Especially When I figured out one unit is alway in red blinking except for it finished firmware update. Reconnecting power, it keeps blinking.
Can not update Geolink either.

I will try to link to other unit.
But this is fishy...

Hello,

the update download should take no more than 1s even with a slow connection.
Is this the case?

Were you waiting for initialization after flashing process?

No takes very long time. 1% is like 4 to 5 seconds.

Oh, this is very interesting. It should be usually as fast you will even not notice something is downloading :)
Could you please re-download and re-install the Spirit Settings from our web page?

You can try the same thing in Demo mode without a unit to verify speed of downloading.

Can you send me original serial number of the unit where flashing failed, please? It is written at the Spirit paper box.
Then we have to prepare special firmware that can fix the unit.

Geolink is okay. I updated using other unit. But one of Pro unit gives me hard time till now.

keeps red blinking. Right after recovery, it is okay but repower the unit it does blink again.

I will try downgrade the firmware and software...

GeoLink version is still same, no need to update.

Oh I tossed the box. Thinking back, The serial in the software was strange. It was 0.0.0.0.0.1 ?

Downgrade will not help unfortunately, the issue was not caused by the firmware but could happen if power is unplugged right when new firmware is booting as protection.
So I will need just serial number of the unit, then we can fix it with special firmware. And then any firmware will work again.
One from the software is not the correct. But you can attach at least file called .spirit-wizard.cfg .. It is located in Documents directory. from this file we can find the original number.

OK, now the special firmware is ready for your unit. You should see it in the list. It is enough to flash it and all will be good again. Then the official firmware will work too.
It is called 3.2.2-Fix.
