Spirit settings app crash in Mac OS 11.2.3

Just curious if anyone else has the problem of the Spirit Settings app crashing in (Big Sur) Mac OS 11.2.3. If I connect my Spirit RS to the computer it will see the Spirit RS and then immediately crash the application. The strange thing is it will work in demo mode and the setup wizard will work also. I have tried re-installing the application. Luckily I have another computer with Mac OS 10.15 installed, no problems there.

Attached is the Mac OS generated crash log if it will help determine the cause.

i can confirm that, does not work for me either. Is it possible that it is due to the USB driver?

Hi,

it is required to install the latest USB driver for new OSX because it is not compatible. Then it should work flawlessly.

Hello,

just bought my 6th Spirit unit, and updated to Spirit Settings 3.3.0., and I have the same problem: keeps crashing on launching.

So I updated ti the latest Mac OSX version: 11.4 on MacBookPro 2018, and latest usb drivers CP210x VCP 6.0.1.

But it keeps crashing....

So I downgraded the unit firmware and the "Spirit Settings" software to v3.2.2
V3.2.2 is still working.

Any idea?

thank you for your report!

We will release version 3.3.1 very likely tomorrow.
It will have Recovery mode fixed and working on all Macs.

We are testing on Big Sur too and it is working very well.
