I have the Jive/RS telemetry working and most of the values are as expected.

The value for RPM is reading high.

Using a Goblin 420 with 20t pinion and Xnova 3215-930

Motor pole count is 10
ratio is 6.1 from the manual

Using these values I get a higher RPM reading that confirmed with an optical/mechanical gauge.
Also this reading is higher than reasonable compared to MrMel head speed calc

If I set the ration to 6.5 the the RPM is accurate by the gauge.

Has anyone any experience with this type of problem?

Are you use the Jive Pro or an older Jive?

Hello,

unfortunately with old Jive ESCs RPMs are not matching in some cases. It seems it is firmware or motor dependent. Sadly Kontronik has not released any documentation for this protocol, instead they are using open TelMe protocol on all recent ESCs.
So there is possibility to try a different firmware or just leave the gear ratio.

Thanks.
Good to know it's ESC related and not something that I need to fix.
I am happy living with the ratio being 'adjusted'.

Great product and even better support!
