I have 2 Spirit systems, a Pro in a Goblin 500 and a Spirit 2 in an old TT Raptor 30.

Spirit 2 in the Raptor is behaving strangely, i have Align DS615 servos and the settings for Pulse & Frequency are set correctly but when I push the Elevator or Aileron on the TX it takes 3 seconds for the Swash to return to centre - heli is on the ground, engine not running.

Swash correction is working fine.

I have enabled the flybar mechaninc in the settings - makes no difference.

When I go into servo setup then the servos snap back to centre as expected.

My Goblin & Spirit Pro do not behave in this way.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. This is how it behaves on the ground. It's called bench mode.

Is this part of new firmware?

Strange how my goblin does not do this

Check here: https://www.spirit-system.com/phpBB3/vi ... nch#p34144

I'm not sure when this behavior has been implemented.

Had a look at that but it does not seem to improve things - I'll create a video to demonstrate.

I believe there's nothing to improve. I just wanted to show you that this is a bench behavior.

Posting a video would be helpful and I can compare with mine.

Hello,

maybe there is a fan which is making a vibrations that are pushing the unit in flight mode.
While other units are not affected and gyro sensor is not sensing any motion.

Anyway this is not an issue at all. It is perfectly correct.

Is this something new in the firmware ?

Why is it doing it?

Is there a reference to it in the manual?

On the bench that's exactly how it should be. If both units are doing it then you have two perfectly good Helis!

Do they fly well??
