[SOLVED] Software 3.3.0 not working on my Windows

Received the Spirit GT unit yesterday. Downloaded the 3.3.0 software and connected the GT. After setting EXBUS protocol and my servo speedsI I tried to update to firmware 3.3.1 . Flashing appeared to work but after flashing the unit has fast blink and is not found by the software. Tried a number of times to re-flash (recovery) and the app closes while trying to download the firmware--just after the green bar finishes filling. Re-loaded app and drivers, no change. Tried new cable, no change. Any ideas?

edit: Tried to update a Spirit II (3.2) to 3.2.2 and it wasn't recognized either. Firmware recovery also failed same way. I had powered both units with a 2S at 7.2 volts so battery seems fine. Windows 10 ver. 2004. Just updated to 21H1, no change. Re-ran install as administrator, no change.

edit 2: Stuck a Spirit Pro on there and it updated to 3.3.1. A second Spirit II (3.2) was not found. Loaded software on newer computer (win10 21H1) and same problems. Won't even see the Spirit Pro.

Looking in device manager (on the newer computer) under PORTS(COM & LPT) the events tab says "Device USB\VID_10C4&PID_EA60\0001 requires further installation."

Any thoughts on what to try next?

Hello,

it seems that for yet unknown reason Spirit Settings version 3.3.0 has problems on some computers.
If you have still old version 3.2.2, can you try to install this software and flash firmware 3.3.1?

Or you tried to update with Spirit Settings 3.2.2 initially?

Habe das gleiche Problem, alles auf neustem Stand, jedoch findet die Jeti und auch der Computer das GT nicht. Gibt es ein Link um es mit der alten Software zu versuchen? Sehr schade, 5 Wochen warten, und jetzt ist es hier und funktioniert nicht

Unfortunately it does not work either, the GT flashes very quickly, if I want to connect it then 3x slowly and then again quickly ---- no connection .... still have an old "spirit" that is no longer recognized on the Pc

Please make sure to plug power supply right before plugging power supply. Unit should start flashing and then you can click at the Flash button.
So that unit is not powered during software startup. This could help you.

I have the same. tried with 3.2.2. software to flash 3.3.1. flashes very quickly. application is at 0% and the unit does 3 blue flashing, then pause, then 3 flashes again, etc, etc

Sorry, I do not have a copy of 3.2.2 software to install and test. If you tell me how to get a copy I'll remove 3.3.0 and install 3.2.2 and see if it still works. It worked before; all my Spirits were on 3.2.2 before this upgrade.

a link for the old software would help many where the 3.3.0 does not work ....... I have 5 Spirit and also the GT, I cannot get the GT to run, and the others no longer work on the PC: - (

But it will work also with the latest 3.3.1 software:

3.3.1 is the latest one.
