[SOLVED] telem uni cable homemade

Should be a quick one to answer...
Just bought a few things from the online Spirit FBL shop and forgot to add the Telem Uni Cable
Can a normal JST-RX adaptor still be used with the Spirit Pro and Spirit V2 just with the red (middle) cable removed?
Hope to hear from someone..

Yes, you are right.

Red wire disconnected. Otherwise it could burn unit.

Having same problem here. I'm switching the ESC and just need Telem Uni. Did it work for you Anton?

What is then a difference? Telem Uni seem to have some PCB inside, so is it not needed at all?

Nope, you don’t need the bought one. Home made works perfectly fine.
It looks like a pc board, however just a 3 in, two out.
Recap, just snip the positive wire - all good.
