Hey all, I have a Spirit RS ordered up and am now shopping for servos for a Kraken 580. I'm tempted to try Futaba for the first time, specifically the HC700's for cyclic, and I'm curious if it's worth ordering the programmer to change from the default 1560us to 760us.

The Spirit RS product description mentions being compatible with all types of servos, so does that mean I can run the HC700's at 760us for cyclic? If so, is it worth the hassle (and the programmer to change to 760us is a bit pricey considering I won't be running the CGY760 gyro...)?

Anyone else running 760us cyclic servos on the Spirit? More specifically, anyone running the Futaba HC700's? Working well for everyone?

I don't see these servos listed in the Spirit Wiki, and Futaba doesn't list the frequency anywhere... I've seen it mentioned that it should be set to 285hz, but I'm unsure.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

These servos are fully supported with all Spirit units.

You can run them on 1520 or 760us for cyclic. 200-333Hz should work well.

Thanks Tomas!

Wondering if anyone's actually tried 760us on cyclic, and if it's worth the trouble? With my skills, it's probably entirely pointless, but who knows.
