Spirit GT, Tail Blowout on full collective

Hello

I am using the spirit GT with my Trex 500X, heli is flying well, rescue works fine, however when i apply full collective the tail just blows to around 80 degrees.

I am running 2700 rpm head speed, tail slider endpoints are at maximum.

I tried tail gain values from 20% up to 100% and it did not help.

Everything in the heli is stock.

What could be the problem?

Hello,

please attach your settings. I will check if there is something responsible for this issue.

This problem is usually caused by something wrong in the tail mechanics.
Also it could happen when headspeed is not holding well or at all.

Thank you. It seems there are few parameters that should be modified.

First I recommend to change:
1. Advanced/Revomix to 3
2. Advanced/Pirouette Consistency to 170
3. Advanced/Rudder Delay to 5

Then if it will still not work, please try to change Gyro Gain to achieve the best performance.
If it will still not work, then there is only possibility that there is some mechanical issue that must be resolved.
After these settings you do not have to change anything in the unit. It should be tuned more than perfectly.

Alternatively tuninng Governor might be needed. So there are only 2 things to check after these changes.
