Hi
I have the WIFI Connection running at my Android Phone
The Spirit is connected and I see the interface at the phone
If I switch to >Spirit Settings< I´m getting the error message:

How can I update the Modul?
Wifi connection
Hello,
you can download Spirit Wifi-Link Update tool from our web page.
Then perform update to the latest version and all should work well.
Your Spirit unit is at version 3.3.1 already, am I right?
So your Wifi-Link must be updated too.

I performed the update to the latest version but the connection error problem persists
It does not work on my Android phone and also on my Windows PC
Can it be that the reason are the different firmware versions?
Spirit2 is 3.3.1
WIFI Link is 3.3.0

Now I did the update several times
I have the Spirit2 with 3.3.1 and the WIFI-Link with 3.3.0
The Spirit is connected and when I go to one of the settings menus I can see the selected menu for 1-3 seconds.
Thereafter it shows the error message "Connection Error" and the Menu is switching back to the first site.

It depends on what app you are trying to run.
If you are starting Android app from Google Play, you have to update Android app from Google Play.
Update is already in the store.
If it is Wifi-Link through Web Browser interface, then you should be able to do the configuration.
If it is Spirit Settings on computer, you have to update Spirit Settings on computer.
Each software must be on par with what is flashed in the Spirit unit. But I dont know how you are trying to access the unit. Through which app it is..

Please note, if it is very old Wifi-Link (green PCB) that were released before Spirit 2 then it is not compatible unfortunately. The Wifi-Link require hardware update. We can do this for free if this is the case.
But if it is at least 2 years old, it should all work perfectly.
Maybe this is the main problem.
Where you bought the Wifi-Link and how it is old, do you know?

You can see it in my order history.
Unfortunately with Spirit 2 it will not comunicate correctly. The module was designed for older units - Spirit Pro and Spirit 1.
But with very small upgrade it can be fixed. Only two resistors must be replaced.
In this case shipping to us is the best solution. Then everything will work well with all units.
