SPM4651 connection to Spirit 2

Apologies if this has been asked. I haven’t found a post on this. I have a Spirit 2 on the latest firmware and would like to use a Spektrum 4651T. I’ve purchased the SRXL to SRXL2 converter cable from Spirit but, I’m having trouble getting the Spirit2 to communicate with the 4651T. Can the 4651T be connected to the Sat 1 port with this cable ? I have selected SXRL2 on the general config page.

Thank you for the reply. It seems I've ordered the wrong cable by mistake. Somehow I thought I had read that the SXRL2 was supported at the Sat1 and Sat2 ports with the 3 to 4 pin SXRL2 cable I ordered from Spirit.

Hi,

keep this "wrong" cable, maybe you'll need it in the future it is meant to attach SRXL2 sats additionally to Sat ports. but only needed if you should experience signal stability problems (Spirit system is recommending full Rx plus Sat in this case anyhow).

Thank you Micheal! I’ll hang onto it. I bought it thinking that such connectivity of SRXL2 directly to the sat ports was already available.
