560/760 tail servo
If I connect power to the heli with the transmitter off (or with the wrong model selected, etc) then, as expected, the spirit alerts me via servo movements that it doesn’t have a connection. However, if I then turn the transmitter on, I seem to have control again except that the tail servo is pegged to one side and doesn’t move much or doesn’t move at all. I don’t have full control of th tail servo when this happens. This issue is repeatable for me.
Once, one of the cyclic servos (1520/333) was also pegged causing a tip over tendency on spool up.
My current solution of course is to power down the heli and have the transmitter ready to go before powering on the heli again. But the FBL unit ought to recover nicely from no signal at startup to recovering signal.
[Bug] Tail servo pegs after
I opened up the Diagnostic tab in Spirit-Settings.app when this occurred. My rudder TX value is showing it maxed out at 118% even though my actual TX value PPM is 1500 microseconds. Moving my rudder stick to full left brings the TX value as shown in Diagnostics to 48%.
My pitch value is also screwy. It goes from –118% to 52% only.
