Hello

I have a problem with one of my helicopters with the telemetry of the CC Edge160HV and my Spirit Pro. I have a CC Edge100 with Spirit Pro in a smaller helicopter where everything runs smoothly. With this, however, the telemetry behaves very strangely. The telemetry values displayed are going crazy. For example, the amps jump from about 16A to 130A or so. The voltage display also jumps from 49A to 33 at 12S and so on ...
I have checked everything several times on the settings of the Spirit, CC 160HV and my DC-24. I have already exchanged the CC telemetry cable, unfortunately without any results. I have everything identical to my little helicopter where everything runs smoothly.
Anyone any idea what that could be?

Hello,

is also BEC voltage same?
This could make big difference, because castle telemetry is using the voltage to translate signal at the throttle line.

Also is Throttle Frequency set to 60Hz in the Spirit Settings?

Yes, the frequency is at 60Hz.
But the BEC voltage is 7.4V on this helicopter with the problem.
With my other one, where everything works, it's only 5.9V.
What do you think I should try?
Thanks in advance!

You can try to lower the BEC voltage.

Hi

I tried to set the BEC voltage to 5.9V, unfortunately without success. I also had a helicopter with a 120 Edge HV where it also worked with 7.4V. I almost think it's the controller itself ...

To get the Castle ESC to share telemetry, you need to go into the Castle Link software to the "Other" tab and turn on Live Link, you also need to go to the tab below and click "RPM Out".

Also, Castle ESC's need a special cable from Spirit-Systems from the ESC to the throttle channel in order for Telemetry to work correctly.
