I have a new Spirit GT and cannot get telemetry data for the RPM to the Spirit GT. I have successfully done it with a 120 Amp HobbyWing, by moving the Orange RPM wire from the top of the connector to the middle socket.

I have Live Link activated in the Castle 160HV and also the RPM Out activated. I have tested using the Orange RPM wire with both the top socket and the middle socket of the connector with no luck.

Any thoughts and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

All the best,

Ken

Thanks for the link. It is unfortunate that I have tried all these remedies.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

After reading the Spirit manual on Governors, the Castle Creastion ESC need a special cable offered by Spirit-Systems to enable the flybarless unit to read the RPM.

actually you can just solder a resistor on the esc cable :-)

For Experts: Alternatively you can modify your current Throttle cable by adding 10kOhm resistor between white (signal) and red (+) wires. In this case the Telemetry cable is not required.

btw remember that white cable + rpm out is just for governor ( on PIT pin )
while orange cable + link live + resistor is just for telemetry ( on AUX1 connector )
