"Rescue - Smoothing Factor parameter update:
Transition is smoother and will finish always with swashplate in the center.
Value 1 is now configured as factory default."
This was announced with version 3.3.0
I have updated all my Spirit units to 3.3.3 and none of them shows any smoothening of the rescue action.
I tried value 1, 5 and 10 and there is no difference visible on the bench nor in the air.
Testing was done with standard units and one Spirit2.
The rest of the values in the expert tab are untouched.
Do I need to go back to 3.3.0?
Is this feature only for Spirit GT??
Thanks for any assistance!
Rescue - Smoothing Factor not working
Hello,
this feature is working with all Spirit units.
It is available for Rescue (Normal) and Rescue (Acro). Difference is visible immediately after engaging.
Please make sure to set the value for all Banks if you are using more.

I am using 3 banks:
bank 0: stabi koax
bank 1: stabi normal
bank 3: Recue normal
With my scale helis I fly during take off and landing with bank 0.
All tests where done on the bench and shortly after take off with bank 0 being active.
But there is the smoothing factor NOT active.
After swithing to bank 1 (stabi mode normal) the swash plate moves soft
Is there a reason for being inactive in koax mode??

Rescue smoothing factor parameter is simply for Rescue, because it is adding collective pitch making big stress for the mechanics.

Yes, this is exactly the reason why I want to use this fature also during takeoff and landing.ZeXx86 wrote:Rescue smoothing factor parameter is simply for Rescue, because it is adding collective pitch making big stress for the mechanics.
Do I have to change my take off and landing procedure and use Stabi normal all the time to have the smoothing factor?
The use of the coax stability gave me a more calm behavior of the helikopter but there is no smoothness in case of a necessary rescue.
