Hello,
I have YGE 65LVT -> Spirit GT -> Frsky X8R -> Taranis X9D RPM telemetry working, but have a question:
The RPM as shown on the radio shows RPM in hundreds. For example 1752 RPM reads as 17.
Changing the scaling in the radio sensor screen to scale by 100, now reads 1700.
How do I get the ESC RPM in this example 1752 RPM to read 1752 on the radio?
Second question: Can I connect the YGE 65LVT red RPM wire to the Spirit GT, and if so, where? The manual does not clearly say.
Will adding the YGE 65LVT RPM red wire to the Spirit give me 1752 reading on the Taranis?
Thanks.

Hello,
you have to set gear ratio only at one place, noth in the ESC and Spirit unit at the same time.
There should be 1:1 ratio somewhere.
Adding wire can also resolve the problem.
No scale parameter is needed.

maybe this can help you
from manual:
1.2 RPM signal
To make the governor work well it is very important to choose an appropriate RPM sensor. RPM sensor can be external or built-in in the ESC.
Cable that carry RPM signal must be always connected when Governor is used.
Connect RPM signal cable to the pin of the unit:
μSpirit - P pin - upper pin of the P/E/A port
Spirit - PIT pin - pin in the middle of ELE/PIT/AIL port
Spirit Pro and Spirit 2 - PIT pin - pin in the middle of ELE/PIT/AIL port
Spirit RS and Spirit GTR - RPM pin - pin in the middle of EXT/RPM/E2 port
Sensor can be powered from any available Satellite port (SAT) or directly from a BEC. Satellite port is giving 3.3V, while BEC is operating usually at 5 - 8V.

you are right that GT is missing in these instructions
but spirit 2 and gt are almost identical and I guess also pinout is identical
