Hi
I tried to setup automatic rescue for the first time today on my T-rex 470, it has a Spirit GT and I use a Spektrum radio.
I set two of the banks with normal rescue and one with automatic. After taking off I tested normal rescue and it worked fine and then switched to the other bank to test automatic rescue, then the heli started to climb a lot and Im not sure what I did but I think I changed over to another bank and the heli stopped climbing. Then I lost all control over cyclic and the heli started drifting far away from my, after a while i hit throttle hold and the heli just fell to the ground. Log shows receiver signal lost, but I think its strange that the throttle wasnt cut if it lost signal. Not sure what happened here? Any ideas? See log attatched.

Hello,
in all banks there is no Rescue automatic configured.
There is only Rescue (Normal) which is configured for 5 seconds to climb. Then it will set Hovering Collective Pitch.
What happened was very likely the Rescue (Normal) was engaged, then it took 5 seconds and model was hovering more or less. At the same time it could drift.
It was enough to turn off the Rescue to continue in flight.
It is always important to turn off all features that you engaged if you are uncertain what is happening.
You can at least verify behavior at the bench and observe what the swashplate is doing and what you can do with sticks.

I think i forgot to upload one of the banks. Automatic rescue was definetely enabled in one of the banks.
I have done some more bench testing with blades removed, when I enable automatic rescue the swash moves up, but then
after a while it starts to move up and down so something is wrong here?
And why I completely lost signal I dont understand
