is there anything I can do to get a smoother spoolup with YGE ESC, than that:

I tried various "Spoolup Rate" settings in the Spirit governor and various settings in the YGE ESC, but it did not get better.

[SOLVED] Soft spoolup with YGE ESC
Hi,
spoolup is handled by the ESC itself. There is Spoolup Power parameter which can improve it significantly.
Unfortunately when using external Governor and certain settings these smoothing procedures are bypassed on some ESCs.
Please decrease this parameter in the ESC.
If ESC is set correctly and you will still get a kick, you can decrease Spirit parameter called Spoolup Rampup. This is the only thing you can change and could help with external governor.
