Governor GTR

Hello,

I use GTR 3.4.0 with Kraken Nitro.
The RPM sensor is a Spektrum SPMA9569 connected on Ext and powered by Spektrum port.
The telemetrie RPM work fine.
The curves motor on radio and Diagnostic are exactly the same. The log show Governor engaged, but
I have no regulation, when I engage governor.
I get allways the max RPM.
I played with Governor response, holding performance and holding limit but nothing change.
When I modify the max RPM, the value change correctly.

What can be wrong ?

I found this behavior too, if I had the Max Head Speed in the gov tab set too high. What number did you put in that box?

Hi,

First I tried 2 400, then 2 200, and I see that the limit is respected, but curves like 60% or 70% doesn't decrease the Rpm.

Try 2000 max head speed and see if that helps. Also high gov response settings can do this too I believe.

I found changing settings in the Spirit can be a tricky thing. Some settings can be changed live and it's not needed to hit the save button. Some things can be changed and the save button works. On the Max RPM settings. I found the Spirit needed to be power cycled for that setting to 'take'.

That was my experience, If you were changing Max Head Speed's in the radio and flying - those settings likely didn't have an effect.

PS my bank 0 is Gov disabled, with TC under 50%. Are you in the same process ?

Good evening,

I tried this afternoon with the bank 0 and Governor enabled, and it's work now.

In this bank the TC is under 50%, and when I switch to bank 1 and 2 with Governor, all parameters are active correctly.

I confirm that when I change a parameter in a bank, it's active without restart the GTR.

Hello,

all parameters except Receiver type, ESC telemetry and GeoLink support (enabled/disabled) will be changed and active immediately as soon as they are changed even without pressing the Save button.

So nearly all parameters will take effect with no power cycle.

Is it correct, that Governor doesn't work, if bank 0 is disabled ?
