[SOLVED] Geolink v2 stops working after latest 2 minutes
Used and tested Geolink v2 on two different helis. On both, Geolink v2 stopped working after latest 2 minutes. I have sent the unit to Thomas for checking. Came back after two weeks without any comment nor any testdocument! Same behavior today on the airfield. Newest firmware installed on both. Slowly - I‘m sick of it!
Please update unit on latest fw 3.4.2 and Geolink on 1.3.1 via sw 3.4.2

It is latest firmware. Both on Spirit and on geolink. I am standing beside the heli (friend on the airfield).
And no errors in the log. Just the blue light went out during flight.
In Austria we say: I hope Geolink v2 was not a grab into the toilett
(sorry).

we examined your module and also tested on our models to make sure your GeoLink is working well.
It was perfect in all conditions fortunately. We did the update to 1.3.1 to make sure the problem you described will not appear again.
Can you make sure that you still have version 1.3.1 in the GeoLink v2?

But very strange - my colleague (AlexFromTelfs) which is operating his v2 at the same place without any problems!? And I confirm, I have the newest Firmware installed. On both, Spirit GT and v2. And I have flown the v2 on two different helis. Same result…. !
In this case it will be best to ship you new GeoLink v2 and you can verify the behavior with your Spirit units.

Today I went to the airfield. First I flew with my own v2. Same behavior as before. Then I have mounted the „new“ v2 on the same heli. And it worked really nice and without any problems! So I will send you „my“ v2 back tomorrow. Seems that it has a failure in the circuit. As soon as it is heated up under operating condition it stops working.
So, for me the problem is SOLVED. Thank you very much for your service.
