Hi guys,
How can I use the AUX port as a switching channel as it´s described for a landing gear or lights?
I have a 1st cap buffer and would like to switch it on/off thru the AUX port.
I tried a channel 9 assignment in the functions panel (output to AUX). The switch is working but has no affect on the connected cap buffer.
FW: 3.4.3
TX: Jeti DS-16
Thanks in advance.
Spirit GTR: AUX for switching channel
Hi,
I have also an 1st-Buffer with three cables +, - and Signal on it - my first consideration was to do that in the same way as you - but I haven't tested it myself yet, it will take a while, but I suspect that the firmware of the 1st buffer may not have implemented it yet, I seem to remember that there was a "*" after the specification and at the bottom, it will be possible in a later version (firmware) - but as soon as I get around to it, I'll still check whether it's already working and let you know -
Regards
Short addendum, try it with aux2...:

... it is working as you explained - at least on mine. the buffer can only be switched off when the buffer is supplying the power (main battery disconnected). as long as main battery is connected the buffer will ignore on/off switching signal from Tx (which makes perfect sense to me).
cheers
