THROTTLE channel

Hi guys!

Is spirit gyro in any way affecting the throttle channel? Maby in rescue or return to home or some other stabi functions. I was told for "safety reasons" to connect my throttle cable directly on anchannel input on my receiver and not on AUX1 on gyro (just in case the gyro wants to do any changes ..

Thinking now especially for my turbine setup. .. and also for electric

Hello,

never any changes unless you are using Spirit Governor.
Signal is basically retransmitted in other case.

Thank you sir. That means im keeping it on aux1 and saving a port on my receiver wich is allready avout to be filled out!


Was just told that MABY the spirit port would change throttle parametres in case some situation butbthen i know it doesnt;)

Difference is in how failsafe is handled. I find it best to have throttle connected to Spirit, and set failsafe in Spirit properly (this you need in any case), and in receiver configure it to send "no pulses". Then failsafe is just configured in one place.

In any other case you have to care about failsafe being set properly both in receiver and in FBL.
