Hi, I'm setting up my first Spirit GT + Geolink. I just let my heli run without blades outside and after 4 minutes I took it inside to see what the Geolink was logging.
There is a red dot marked home on the map and a yellow dot where I actualy live. They are about 100 km apart.
Is this right?
Also the heading is 120 degrees of. I calibrated the Geolink with no result.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Rolf

Home position is where you will program Home position manually. This will not change on its own and is visible also without a GPS signal. You can reprogram it by selecting new Home position if you are using Return to Home function.
If it was not programmed yet, then it detected Home position from your Internet Provider location. For this reason you can see big difference.
Yellow dot is currently measured position which is only for your reference.

For Compass Calibration please check this page if you have not seen it yet.

I tried recalibrating the compas a couple of times. When I put the compas in calibration mode I get a solid green light when I start up. I don’t get 3 rapid blue flashes. When I start moving the heli I get blue flashes after a couple of minutes. It’s different from what the manual states.

This looks good. The only important thing is you have to get blinking LED light at the end of the calibration. This blinking will be continuous at steady rate until you will plug off power supply (even if there is no movement).
This is signalizing the calibration was successfull and finished.
