Altitude Resetting In-Flight

I have a Spirit GT and the altitude sometimes resets to 0 in the middle of the flight. This makes using things like auto-recover somewhat suspect. I have seen this behaviour with 3.6.2 and 3.6.1 firmware. Also, it only seems to happen with lower RPM flights, though now that I've seen it I'm not sure I trust the altimeter for auto-rescue, even at higher RPM flights.

This morning I was doing some testing to reproduce and caught it in the log... see attached screenshot and log file.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Hello,

altitude measurement is resetted when vibration level is under 2%. It seems your model is producing very low vibrations with low RPM.

Fortunately our upcoming 3.7 firmware has improvement that in case of assigned Throttle channel it can find if Throttle is active. And when it is active it will not reset even with low vibration level. So the problem will be resolved after update (if you are not using PWM receiver connection)

Good to know. What is a typical in-flight vibration level? I've been trying to reduce vibration because the snapshot from the spectrum analyser is much higher (on some frequencies) even though the total is low. That being said, when I remove the main and tail blades, the spectrum analyser numbers seem pretty good... so maybe that's not meant to be used in flight?

Also, is there an ETA for 3.7?
