Ok here’s what you asked
The GeoLink is Brand New
Of course the cable is also brand new
It’s wired into the Sat 2 port of the Spirit FLB
The FLB unit is controlling the Heli in all stick movements as it should
I updated the GeoLunk to the latest firmware before installing
The FLB was also updated before installing
I’m using a Sprektrum AR8012 SRXL which is wired into the Sat 1 port
The software is seeing the Geolink and shows all the info on the Info page
Like I said, when I select the Calibration Tab I never see a blinking blue light, only a solid green light
When I installed the Geolink , I selected the Geolink check box then powered everything down, including the software and then brought everything back up again
Calibration failure
Hello,
the receiver is not connected correctly.
It should be connected with JETI integration cable at the RUD + AIL pin.
If you power receiver from BEC it could burn up both GeoLink and Spirit.

The SRXL2 wiring should be correct
The cable is coming out of the SRXL2 port on the receiver
The ground and positive are going to the RUD Port
The Orange wire is going to the top pin of the ( ELE/Pit/Ail) port
Just how it shows in the manual

Here’s the balance of my wiring for you to check
Sys. To computer
0. Blank
1. L aileron
2. Elevator
3. R aileron
4. Rudder
Aux 2 BEC output from ESC
Aux 1. Throttle Signal from ESC
Rpm wire from ESC to bottom pin of (Elle/pit/ail)
Data wire from ESC to Sat 1
SAT 2. Geo link
Hobbywing Platinum v4 ESC 120 a
All controls on Heli work as they should
And I have full Telemetry including RPM’s

Only you're using Satellites.raceboy1 wrote:The SRXL2 wiring should be correct
But you wrote:
That's not a Satellite!raceboy1 wrote: I’m using a Sprektrum AR8012 SRXL which is wired into the Sat 1 port
For you the correct chapter of the manual is No 11. https://manual.spirit-system.com/index.php?title=Wiring
Have a good time

Ok, I moved the signal wire of XRXL from the ail port back into the rud port
Now I’m not getting a throttle signal and my motor just beeps
Also, I tried the compass calibration again and when power down and power back up the Heli
The Geolink still goes straight to a solid green light

Your wiring to AIL pin + RUD port was correct for SRXL2 receiver.
I want to make clear how the Calibration should be triggered.
First you open Spirit Settings. Then open General - GeoLink. Then go to Module tab and click at the Calibration button.
Is this working for you?
It should open window that must be confirmed with OK. Then after powerup you should be able to calibrate.

Everything in your last post occurs as stated
In the calibration screed that you have to agree to
It also tells you that when you power the unit back up, you will see a flashing blue light,
Which indicates that the unit is in calibration mode
This never happens, it just goes to a solid Green light. And no matter how much you move the Heli around that never changes
I think this unit needs replacing.
