This never happens, it just goes to a solid Green light. And no matter how much you move the Heli around that never changes
...
"GeoLink v2 will light up also Green LED when calibration is ongoing." from manual under https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... figuration
Have a good time

Yes, it should turn GeoLink Green LED light ON until calibration is finished. Please note it will not finish itself. It will finish only after moving model in all possible directions - this mean you have to rotate 360° in all 3 axes. And just exactly during movement GeoLink will flash very shortly with BLUE light. When movement will stop, there are no more flashes usually.
So the only thing that remains to do is to move with the model in all directions.

By the way was there some moment when GeoLink had BLUE light on? Maybe just Blue LED has some problem.

I just spent three hours with Scott Griffis which has nine helicopters and all of those have your systems in them
He was also unable to do the compass calibration
I came home and tried to do it again in my garage ( with the lights off)
I spent about 5 minutes and never seen one single blink
The only thing I get is the solid Green light that never blinks

Your a Software developer, why can’t you take over my computer and figure out what’s going on

Hello,

we received some photos from HeliDirect that you sent.
It seems everything is correct and GeoLink is initializing properly and even picking up satellites.

This mean that the failure is the Blue LED light does not operate for some reason.
In other words all features are working but Blue LED can't indicate.
So also Calibration should work, but you will not see it is calibrating.
By connecting to your computer we unfortunately can't find anything that could help.

The question is why it stopped to work. The repair should be very easy in any case. We can ship you new one and replace it.
If you can provide us your shipping address we can manage the rest.

It’s not the GeoLink
I already bought a second one from you and that one does the exact same thing

Oh, in that case it is even more interesting. I am afraid there could be something odd with wiring.
For example incorrect wiring of the ESC telemetry cable could cause various malfunction of the GeoLink or Spirit or even permanent damage.
This could happen if for example a positive lead of the side JST cable is connected in some way with positive lead of the BEC or positive and negative are connected there.

For this reason I recommended to unplug everything that is not necessary first - from servos, telemetry, RPM sensor or even receiver.
In this way wrong wiring can be perfectly excluded, because nothing could affect it. So only ESC/motor and GeoLink can remain connected.
Can you try this?

I already eliminated the receiver. I installed a DSMX Satellite to the Sat 1 port

Here’s the balance of my wiring , before the above
Spirit’s Pl Wiring
SYS to computer
0. Blank
1. l aileron
2. Elevator
3. R. Aileron
4. Rudder.
5. Aux 2 BEC
6. Aux 1. Throttle signal
7. Rpm wire to bottom pin of el,pit,al
8. Top pin of el,pit,al is the signal wire from receiver
9. RUD. Neg & pos wire from receiver
10. Sat. 1. Data wires from ESC
11. SAT. 2. Geolink

7. Rpm wire to bottom pin of el,pit,al
RPM should be connected at the middle pin, not bottom.

NOTE: If possible, eliminate everything as I recommended, including satellite receiver. It is just for testing purpose if it will help. If yes, then there was something we overlooked in the wiring.

Alright, I did what you asked. All the wires but ESC power and the Geolink into sat 2 were removed

The results are still the same a Green solid light and it doesn’t change no matter how much you move the Heli

How about shipping me another GT Module
That’s the only thing left

I went ahead and ordered a replacement FLB from Helidirect
This puts me around 800.00 for your system
I sure hope I find it worth that
