Spirit Wave Trainer Mode

Hello Tomas,

I wanted to ask how far you have with the trainer mode on the Spirit Wave. I also give flight lessons and would like to train with my students on the wave.

Trainer mode for Wave is similar to other transmitters but when pairing with other Wave radio whole model settings can be downloaded wirelessly to radio of student.
You can allow which Channels are allowed to control by trainer as well.

We plan to add few improvements there in very near future and allow more functions within 3 weeks. Then it should be perfectly mature.

Unfortunately the problem is that it doesn't work at the moment. When the transmitters connect, I have two wave transmitters, Either twitch the servo or jerky movements. I also didn't see where I could assign the switch for operation. OK then I hope it works after the 3-week update, otherwise the Wave is really great.

Is there any news about the trainer mode, possibly in the next update. The weather is getting better and better and I rely on it to work. I wouldn't like to switch to another system.

I noticed one little thing: the Delta function on aircraft is not yet working correctly. Instead of mixing the height and transverse 2 outputs, 4 outputs 2 transverse and 2 side are created.

Thanks for the trainer update, the function itself is great and works perfectly.

However, I found that as soon as the two transmitters are connected, the servos don't run cleanly. They jerk.

If I only connect one transmitter directly, they run normally clean. Could you please check this again.

The installed servos are TS Theta Razor C1, 760 US, 200 HZ, HS Theta Razor T1, 760 US, 560 HZ

Hello,

please make sure that receiver has 1.10.6 firmware installed. New trainer mode require the recent receiver firmware to work correcty.

Today we released udated version to make sure you can't use the old receiver firmware version in no case and trainer is automatically turned off.
